This is a very nice BnB, but maybe a little overpriced. The room was very compact, but it did have a balcony with a view of the harbour which was nice. Being confronted with a "please remove your shoes" notice at the front door seemed a bit strange, as was the 8.30 starting time for breakfast. We had to forgo breakfast the first day as we couldn't wait that long. Having said that, I would have to give full marks for the breakfast which we enjoyed on the second morning, which included one of the best omelettes that I have had for a long time. Margaret is very chatty (when she is there) and we arrived to a notice on the door welcoming us and giving directions. The restricted availability of the guest laundry was also a bit frustrating.

Well appointed beds and baths that remain quiet even when full. Your host, Margaret, is delightful and makes the stay memorable. Parking on the street is safe and private. 10 minute walk to the quay and Lonsdale has some magnificent places to eat. But don't eat too much since the B&B breakfasts are to write home about! And if you are a dog lover and miss your pooches, Jackson and Toffee will let you say hello. Beautiful views from the front rooms facing all Vancouver's skyline and there is a nice sheltered patio out front to sit and rest.

Room Tip: Front rooms face Vancouver and have a nice balcony to sit on for morning coffee

Dear Michael ; I'm so happy that you finding my B&B after all those years visiting still consistent with qualities or maybe even better ( ? ) ; takes hard work , dedication , focusing and improvements not only on the property but also in personal growth ;
I'm looking forward to your next visit :) Margaret

We stayed here for 3 nights in mid June. We arrived later than expected due to delays and Margaret could not have been more helpful.
The room, advertised as deluxe, was beautifully comfortable and spacious and interestingly appointed. Mirrors feature quite highly which made it light and fun, especially considering the beautiful full length windows/patio doors but I'm still a little unsure about the fridge, tea and coffee being in the en suite! However the huge bed was amongst the most comfortable ever and to have a balcony (shared) to enjoy the gorgeous view of the harbour was an added bonus. The view at night especially was mesmerising, there's a little industrial noise audible but it really doesn't disturb and the residential street is very quiet.
Breakfast was delicious and, in true guest house style, is home cooked and enjoyed with the company of Margaret (and her 2 lovely dogs and many stories) and other guests. A little more flexible hours for breakfast would have been nice but as she does it all herself it's not unreasonable to want it sorted in good time to get the rooms cleaned and changed later.
Location is very good, it's 20 minutes walk to the seabus across to Vancouver Waterfront and all it's attractions. This means that affordable accommodation with fantastic views is close to where you want to be. Views like these on the waterfront itself would be much more expensive. You're also brilliantly placed for Grouse mountain etc. All in all, a lovely place to stay.

Margaret knows what having a first class B&B is all about. The property is as exquisite as Margaret herself is friendly and helpful. An excellent breakfast, great location and free on site parking are all part of the winning combination. Don't hesitate for a moment to stay here.
