Well worth the admission fee! - (approximately 50 dollars) for the cable car trip up the mountain alone! Once at the top there are shops and restaurants and interesting films in the theatre! There is a very entertaining lumberjack show and a chair lift to go even higher! There are zipwire rides! And a windmill with a viewing pod with views that are really breathtaking!! But mainly go for the wild life! Truly wonderful

Great views over the city-as long as it's a clear day! Bought the full ticket which gives access to ski-lift and Eye of the Wind. This is a wind turbine which allows you to travel to the top of it through a lift inside it. Worth the entry fee alone as it is a fully working turbine and very different to anything else I've visited.

I spent only a few hours at Grose Mountain in summer time but would recommend a visit to anyone. Without a cloud to be seen I headed to Grouse Mountain. With limited time I was concerned how much I would get to see but the helpful lady at the ticket office ensured me I would have time to enjoy both the chairlift and viewing from the wind turbine. On her recommendation I bought the ticket that covered everything and was really pleased I did. The view was just amazing. Without having seen some Grizzly bears anywhere elsewhere on the travels is was good to also get to see a few bears be nursed back to health.

If you can drive to Grouse Mtn, skip the rest of this review. For the rest of us tourists who cannot drive directly there, it's a nightmare. They offer a free shuttle both ways, but they don't tell you is the space on the shuttles is limited to about 10% of the visitors. If you're willing to get to the shuttle place an hour early, you may get a seat. But coming home is where the nightmare begins. When exiting the park, there are no signs anywhere about where to go. The space on their shuttles is even very limited because most people leave in the 2:00 to 5:00 range and shuttles only run once an hour, so you must take a public bus, then a ferry. It took us almost two hours to get back to the edge of downtown Vancouver, whereas it took us 15 minutes by direct route from the same point earlier in the day. They know full well that they aren't providing the necessary transportation services for the volume of visitors that pay admission.

Took the ferry and then the bus up to Grouse Mountain. We kept hoping all the way there it would clear up......it didn't. If it is overcast in town, it is even thicker up there. Decided not to spend $$ to ride up the mountain. Got back on the bus and headed back down the mountain. Disappointing day. How nice the bus drivers were though.
