We had an amazing dinner at Curve Lounge with our favourite bartender Allan! Enjoyed the Seafood Curry and a Fuggles & Warlock Personas Now it's dessert time with some Port and Bailey's Chocolate Mousse

Went to Curve for a late appies and drinks. The bar was out of 2 of the 8 beer selections and ran out of fries as appetizers and kept us waiting for 30 minutes for fries, after one out of the 3 orders of fries came out! Server was great and apologized. Nothing was done otherwise. For the prices they charge, menu management has to be better!! Once food came, it was great and well worth it!

Had drinks on the large, lovely patio just steps away from the marina where you can stroll by the river. Ordered a cobb chicken club sandwich to share with my husband and asked for an extra plate but when it arrived it was beautifully split on two plates with generous helpings of fries which were crispy and delicious. The sandwich was excellent and we would definitely order it again. The server was very busy but did a great job at being attentive to our needs. Overall, a wonderful evening in the sunshine.

We came here for a special event at the River Rock Theatre. We had arrived early on this Friday evening to avoid the Night Market traffic congestion. As the show started at 8:00 PM, we checked out the eating options including the food court and the buffet inside River Rock. In the end, because we weren’t too hungry, we decided to come to Curve Lounge for drinks and appetizers.

The menu has the usual upscale pub food including burgers, soups and salads. Check out the menu online for additional information.

We ordered from the Curve Social menu; select regular priced menu items discounted Wednesdays thru Fridays between 5pm and 8pm.

We ordered the Ai Funghi E Salsiccia flatbread with Italian sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes and Mozzarella cheese. The flatbread was generally okay but there were some parts of the flatbread that was salty. The Curve Social pricing of $12 for the flatbread was good value (regular price $16) and yielded 8 small slices.

For drinks, we ordered a Caesar and a Margarita cocktail - $8 each. Doubles were $12. Drinks were so-so; just average. We’ve had better drinks elsewhere.

The servers were friendly. However, we had 2 service issues.
• We were overcharged for the flatbread - $16 instead of $12. The server made an adjustment and gave me back $4 in cash. Secondly, the refund should have been more because of the taxes and tips on top of the $4. I wasn’t really concerned with the small error but more the principle of the correct refund. In hindsight, I should have corrected the server.
• Other tables were being served complimentary Japanese cracker snacks. We had to ask our server before we got a bowl.

Ratings breakdown
• Food quality and taste– average
• Drinks - average
• Pricing vis-à-vis portion size – average
• Service - average

Overall, the food experience is average - 3 out of 5 rating.

Notes & Tips
• There was lady singer in the lounge on this Friday evening
• Indoor seating for 80 or more customers. There is also an outdoor patio.
• Go a bit earlier to avoid the evening weekend rush because there are lots of vehicles heading to the Night Market. Use the casino parking and enter via Great Canadian Way and not Number 3 Road.
• The Night Market had food and retail vendors and is located less than ½ mile from the casino
• If you’re coming to River Rock Casino via the Knight Street Bridge, take the first Richmond turnoff (Bridgeport Road), travel approximately 3 kilometers and then turn right at the Costco at Great Canadian Way.
• If you’re coming from the Oak Street Bridge, take the first turn off the bridge and stay right, turn right at the gas station (Great Canadian Way).
• If you’re using the Art Laing Bridge (goes to YVR), stay right to go to Richmond, go underneath the overpass, at the intersection turn right and turn right again at the first road that will get you to the over pass, follow the overpass and then turn left on Great Canadian Way and follow it all the way.
• Lots of free casino parking
• The Canada Line skytrain stops at the Casino. From downtown Vancouver, it is about a 20 minute ride.

We were staying in house as we were in transit through YVR. There were several restaurants at the complex. This was the most casual with a bar facility with some dining tables.

Food was fast and quality was fitting for the type of restaurant offering. The resort had other restaurants also with different focuses.

Drinks range was reasonable and value for money good. Our bill for two including one drink each was $51 including tax before tips.
