Located in the small seaside town of Steveson (part of Richmond) The Buck and Ear is a large traditional pub in the Canadian style of dark wood, a large bar, variety of seating styles and a couple of pool tables in a separate area. Arriving here for lunch I was greeted by a friendly waiter about my age, i.e., senior citizen! There is a large selection of beers, wines and hard drinks and the menu is extensive. I ordered the Guinness Burger with bacon, cheese and grilled onions with a caesar salad. The waiter told me they make their hamburger patties in house and it was an above average burger and the salad greens were fresh with just the right amount of dressing. In short, an pleasant dining experience for a small tourist town.
