My family and myself stayed at this hotel before our flight to Mexico. We had hoped to relax for the night before catching our flight, unfortunately our stay was anything but that. In fact it was hectic and stressful, not at all how we wanted to start our holiday... We rented 2 rooms, one for myself and my husband, along with one of our children, and the other room was for our other son and his fiance. We hadn't seen our kids in months so wanted to have our rooms close together. We were told that wouldn't be a problem, and were given 2 rooms side by side. The room that was to have or son and fiance in was ice cold, not chilly, but freezing. The air conditioner was blowing full blast (this was at the end of December). My husband tried for about 30 minutes to get the air to turn off and get the heat to kick in. Nothing was working, so I called down to the front desk to to see if we could get help fixing it. I was told that there was no one available to get it working, so I then asked for a different room. I was then told that there wasn't one available. That was frustrating, but thought we'd turn up the heat, leave it for a few minutes to see if it would turn on. After 15 minutes it was still the same, way to cold for anyone to sleep in. It was very stressful, because we had no idea where the 2 of our kids would be sleeping for the night...I finally went downstairs to the front desk and told the employee working that we needed somewhere for them to sleep. She said she'd call the manager to ask what she should do. After talking to the manager, she found another room for them to move to. We went out for a bite to eat and when we got back we went to the room that was for my husband and myself, it was now getting late and we were very tired at this point. I went to sit down on the one of the beds and the whole thing nearly fell down. It was so unstable that I knew that it wouldn't hold my son through the night. It was not usable at all. So I again called down to the front desk to to tell the employee that we needed either the bed to be fixed, or we would need a new room because we had 3 adults staying in that room and only one usable bed. She informed me that there was still no one available to help us, and that there was no rooms available. Again, another very stressful situation. We had no idea where we were going to put our son to sleep for the night. The employee from the desk called us back a little while later to say that she had again called the manager and was told that she could give us a roll away bed, for free ( not even sure why that would even be a question???) but I told her that there was no way any kind of bed whatsoever would fit in that room. I told her that we were in a room with 2 queen beds, she informed me that they were not queen beds, but doubles, we paid for queen size beds but apparently were given doubles. Regardless of whether they were queens or doubles, there was still no room for a roll away bed. She said there was nothing else she could do. I asked her where our third person was going to sleep, she said she had no idea. My husband and I did the only thing we could think of, we took the bed apart and spent at least another 30 minutes fixing the bed. By now it was really late, we were all exhausted and we had an early flight to catch. What a terrible way to start our holiday, we were stressed and exhausted. I asked that night to speak to a manager as well as the next morning and was told there wasn't one available. I also tried to email the hotel and did not hear back from them. We were scheduled to stay at this hotel on our way back from Mexico, but canceled. I would not recommend this hotel. The stay was disappointing, but the lack of response and help was even more disappointing.
