The staff are the rudest team in customer service I have ever encountered. The pricing and advertising practices of Fairmont are predatory, false, and fraudulent. The team have no interest in assisting resolve issues only in being combative. I purchased a room that included breakfast for two adults and two children. The breakfast add on was $120 over and above the room price. When we arrived for breakfast, the staff aggressively asserted that breakfast was only included for the two adults. Something that was never indicated in my purchase process or in my confirmation. Why would I pay $120 more for a $44 breakfast buffet for two? It doesn't make sense, the add on was clearly for 4 people. The staff, restaurant manager, and shift manager were so aggressive and harassing that we actually had to tell them to leave us alone to enjoy our meal in peace, which we could not.
This is false advertising. I'm actively looking to join or start a class-action suit against Fairmont, as it's clear I was not the first person who has brought this up. The staff were so coordinated in their attack in support of their false claim. The waiter was amazing. She said this happens all the time in the restaurant, so I'm clearly not alone. It truly ruined the entire experience. I will NEVER return to a Fairmont again!
