Campground can be very busy being so close to Toronto but sites have some privacy and the beach is very nice. Even has a dog beach area.

Small park that has just the right amount of beach/ sand and by the water. you have a big panoramic vista of the horizon.
Nice break a 1.5 hour drive from Toronto, there isn't much in the town of Jackson's point, but this is a nice picnic chill day out.

Very nice park with beautiful campsites. The problem is that it is overpopulated. Especially on weekends, we saw many sites with 10 and even 12 people when campground's regulations say that is maximum 6 per site. There is no regular monitoring and the staff does not seem much engaged toward visitors. Simcoe Lake is beautiful but since there is no monitoring, dogs swim at will when they are prohibited

A wonderful week with the family camping. Dogs welcome. Tenting on a great lot. Can't say enough of this park. Will return again for sure.

Had a site with no hydro and was back to the basics for living. Very little rain and a splendid area with a dog friendly area for swimming. Spent a lot on wood as I am one of those that like to burn a fire all day and all night for cooking purposes. Well worth the short travel for a great week of camping
