Dolserau Hall is owned and ran by the HF walking and leisure holidays, although accommodation is also available to book independently and "do your own thing".
Meals are at a set time with tea available on Saturdays and Wednesday on the days the 3, 4 and 7 day holidays commence. Tea, coffee and a kettle is however available in the rooms.
The rooms vary in size, and are very nice with views over the hills and countryside.
Excellent breakfasts cooked individually to order from 7.45 - 9. The three course dinners are served at 7.15. Food varies from excellent, especially the elaborate looking sweets and good home made ice cream. Main meals vary markedly from a lovely tasty local lamb stew to a fish pie, where no fish was detected below the thick mashed potato topping, or in the fish chowder (which was not in fact a chowder which again was simply sliced layers of cooked potato). If you like fish stick to the fish fillet choice.
The management and staff are very friendly and helpful.More
