“Birthday weekend”
Reviewed 2 April 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Have just returned from a lovely weekend with my husband and two friends. The location is perfect for getting around. The property has two decent size bedrooms both ensuite. The kitchen is tiny but does have everything you need. The hot tub is a lovely treat. We found the property spotless. I would recommend this property to anyone.

“Fantastic short break!”
Reviewed 10 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Can highly recommend this accommodation. 2 beautiful en-suite bedrooms, with the most comfiest beds ever. Just what is needed after discovering the beautiful coastlines. Home from home with beautiful eye for detail, inc hot tub as an added bonus. Fabulous, and will be returning again soon. Will be passing on these details to all family and friends.

“Home from Home whatever the weather!”

2 day break over my birthday just to 'get away from it all' and that is certainly what you can do here. We had the most laziest time visiting the local village and the village pub plus an evening at the Fox and hounds 5 minutes drive away for glorious home cooked food. Drove down to Lyme Regis and took in some sea air and then spent each evening one crisp and cold and the other wet and windy, in the hot tub in the garden with a bottle of bubbly and in fact you could have been anywhere. With the curtains around and the jets bubbling in the hot tub you had no idea it was wet and cold outside.

“Very high quality accommodation off beaten track, yet 5 minutes from village centre”
Reviewed 13 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

The hot tub in the garden was the first time either of us had been in one and it was a very relaxing experience. The cottage is an annex, but kitted out to the highest standard. My wife was particularly impressed with the quality of furniture and furnishings. Warm and cosy, yet spacious enough in the key areas. Great ensuites!

“Lovely break in Dorset”
Reviewed 28 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

Stayed at water meadows for three nights with our two dogs and friends .The accommodation overall is very comfortable and well equipped especially for dog owners as towels ,poop bags and treats are provided.PLenty of country walks on the doorstep and had a lovely meal in the fox and hounds in neighbouring Cattistock. The hot tub is also a nice touch and very relaxing after a day walking on the downs.Mark and Karen are very friendly and helpful with information, would definately reccomend a visit to Maiden Newton and especially Water Meadows. Many thanks for your hospitality mark and Karen.
