We stayed here for a short break..2 nights and were totally awed by the location and the serene surroundings.
Nothing is too far from here and Carolyn was very helpful.
I would love to go there again any day.
Great place for the kids and dogs. Amazing location and the property was beautiful with everything you need.
We loved this place. The setting is very special and rural though not far from all services and Noosa Heads National Park. We kayaked most days exploring the river and enjoying abundant birdlife. The house is comfortable, clean and well-appointed. We spent a lot of time on the great back porch. We stay there again for sure!
The setting of the house was very peaceful, on the river with plenty of birdlife. However, the accommodation was less than ideal. We were disappointing that the advertised firplace, something we were looking forward to sitting by on the chilly winter nights, was not in working order and could not be used. The cleanliness of the house was poor, old cooking equipment had remnants of past meals still stuck to it (e.g. what looked like scramble egg and cooking oil still on frypan and bits stuck to saucepans). The electric orange juicer, when finally located (our fault couldn't see for looking), turned out not to be in working order anyway. Everything appeared old and tired except the gas stove which was a gem. The house smelt musty and fortunately one of us brought an oil diffuser which freshened it up somewhat. The stucco walls everywhere were in need of paint and not an hygienic cover for walls surrounding toilets. The master ensuite walls beside the toilet were particularly disgusting. The small master walk in robe was unusable because of the overpowering use of what smelled like naphthalene flakes the smell of which could not be dispersed and seeped into any clothes hung there. The airconditioning vents looked as though they had not been cleaned or maintained for years and heated spaces unevenly. Furniture was sparse indoors: a desk with no chair, uncomfortable couches and short single beds in one room suitable for children not adults. The master bed was large, however, it had some sort of sheepskin underlay which didn't fit properly and kept getting scrunched up through the night becoming quite uncomfortable by morning. There were fittings for a TV in the master bedroom however there was in fact only one TV in the lounge. The furniture on the deck was better appointed and the deck itself was lovely. The property was not as private as advertised as there was another rented house right beside this one and people walking their dogs beside the master bedroom window in the early mornings. For what was offered the price was too expensive however, I can see the appeal for a family with tomboy kids and scruffy dogs to have a ball and not worry about damaging anything.

Had a great time last week with the family (3 boys ages 8-11) at this off-the-beaten-track getaway. Getting away from urban crowds was high on our priority list, and this place fit the bill.
We had no real complaints about the house (the bathroom sink off the main bedroom is really small, but that's pretty easy to deal with), but what really made the place for us was the location. We were close enough to Noosa Heads to take advantage of the beach when we wanted it, but could get away when we wanted to be alone.
We rented some SUPs (delivered to the house!) and spent some fantastic mornings and evenings paddling up and down the river. And it was a quick an easy drive to the Noosa River with good choices of restaurants and activities for the whole family.
One great feature of the house to call out is the the large outdoor patio/balcony. It was great to eat our breakfasts and dinners overlooking our own private river and forest.
