“Best Holiday So Far”
Reviewed 13 October 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Went with my husband and 11 year old daughter for 2 weeks. We have been going on holiday to Cornwall for 12 years now and my husband said it was the cleanest and nicest place we have stayed. It was a great base. My daughter enjoyed it as well. The accommodation had everything we needed. The kitchen had everything we needed, I cooked most evening. Very relaxing holiday, enjoyed the stay so much.

“Great location”
Reviewed 23 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Initially the outside of the apartment looked a bit tired and dated but inside the place is very clean and bright. Parking for one is close to the villa.

The villa is fair to the photos provided and there is lots of cooking utensils to use.
Great location for exploring the area. There is a swimming pool onsite but you will have to pay to use it.
This is a great little place but the only drawback for us was the size of the double bed. We are two medium sized adults and found the bed a really small double. Due to this we ended up leaving a day early as lack of sleep was taking it's toll.
Great place for three people but we found four-adults and teenagers was a bit of a squeeze.

Thank you for your kind comments on the bungalow. I am sorry that the accommodation was not quite big enough for your size family.

“lovely, homely cottage perfect for a holiday”
Reviewed 8 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

I stayed for a week with my husband and 2 children. The cottage was very homely, comfortable and well equipped. The site is quiet and ideal for a peaceful break. I would recommend this cottage to anyone and would go back. Fantastic.

“A relaxing haven in peaceful surroundings”
Reviewed 7 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

What a lovely gem of a holiday home! Perfect for staying local and relaxing or venturing further afield to explore Cornwall. We did both.

The accommodation was immaculate and very well presented with some familiar furniture because some of it was the same as what we have at home which made it all the more comfortable! The kitchen had everything we needed including 2 sets of tea towels plus a pint of milk in the fridge and a welcome bottle of wine on the table with some leaflets about Cornwall. Thank you! Lovely Hazel came by one morning to check to see if we had everything we needed which was very nice.

The beds were comfortable and the children loved sleeping in theirs next to each other. We were lucky enough to have blue skies for most of our week stay. It was lovely to just open the windows and patio doors and lie on the sofa looking out to the beautiful green trees and just hear the breeze rustling the leaves whilst the children were playing on the putting green outside with their daddy!

Kenegie Manor was a peaceful and quiet holiday resort. We loved it. We also loved the pool which was certainly big enough for us to enjoy a splash around with the children. Not really a pool for serious swimmers based on its size but perfect for children to play in with parents under the watchful eye of a very helpful lifeguard or parents seated in the cafe area looking down onto the pool. The lounge bar of Kenegie Manor was perfect for us if we wanted to go out for food since it was a stones throw from our bungalow. We entertained ourselves with darts or pool whilst waiting for our meals which were good. There was a large flat screen tv and some sofas to relax on too as well as the tables and chairs for food. All the staff were friendly. We got to know Barbara who usually works in the office and was helping out in the bar at the weekend. She was lovely and very helpful with recommendations for other good restaurants in the area to visit for our anniversary dinner.

We also used the tennis courts and enjoyed the putting green. £5 deposit secures our putters and balls to keep for the week with deposit returned at the end. Brilliant fun for the kids everyday.

It was so great to not have to travel far to get to some of our favourite holiday places ie St Micheal's Mount and St Ives 10 minutes away or less and we discovered the amazing Hayle beach one brilliantly hot blue sky day. Perfect for using the boogie board. The Seal Sanctuary is also well worth a visit. There are 3 big supermarkets 5 minutes drive away and Penzance is on your doorstep. Great location all round!

Thank you Hazel and Keith. We had a lovely relaxing holiday and can't wait to return to this holiday cottage next year! :)

“Relaxing bungalow”
Reviewed 5 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

On the outside the bungalows in the Kenegie Holiday park look characterless but number 30 is brand new inside, lovely ,clean, shiny and bright. Everything needed is available, The Beko TV though is poor quality(it matters on rainy days), the kitchen and the shower cubicle are compact. The location is convenient for exploring west Cornwall from Land's end, St Ives to The Lizard. The coastal paths give breath taking views. The owners are friendly.
