If I had a choice between a week in this Hell hole and a year in Guantanamo Bay with hard labour, I would choose Guantanamo Bay. It is probably cleaner and more efficiently run than this rubbish dump. It makes the TV series Shameless look like a desirable destination and I include the cast in that.
After FINALLY freeing ourselves from the rugby scrum we finally located our hovel, I mean room.
It was absolutely filthy. Everything was filthy, mouldy, damp, stinking, sticky filthy.
We left the room backwards, nodded to a random man who was sat merrily smoking his joint ( to be fair, getting stoned would be the only way you could get through a week there ) and headed back to reception. Walked back over the carpet that seemed intent on attaching itself to our feet ....it's coming to something when even the carpet wants to leave! And after fighting through the rugby scrum once more, returned the keys along with several other guests.
We filled in a form for a refund, whether we will actually get it or not remains to be seen.

Have had a brilliant week here at pontins camber my two kids have loved it as usual its our 6th time coming here and wow what a difference with the new manager mark at the helm. The place is clean chalets are clean and now painted bright colours the entertainment is fantastic with the all new staff line up. Check in is made so much easier and faster with the new checkin set up. Mark hats off to you its been a fantastic week and love what you are all doing with the place its amazing hope to be back agin in the summer! A lovely family holiday that we have thourghly enjoyed . A big thumbs up from this family

New manager getting the place up to date. Very colourful now. There spending lots of money on the place. Even if the weather was bad still plenty to do.new go karts. Clean rooms. Friendly new staff.very good new entertainment. Can not fault it coming back in the summer.

Went to see Toyah as a Birthday treat for my husband. She was good apart from she was only on for 30 mins. The other people were entertaining. The apartment was fine, dated but clean, but oh no the electric meters. No one explain when picking up our keys and it cost £5 a day. Drinks in the upstairs bar were watered down and tasteless, food in restaurant fine. Would think twice about returning

We booked a last minute 5 day break for the family and got it at a bargain price when we got there we got our keys early and went straight to our apartment we were shocked at how nice and clean it all was had been upgraded recently by the looks of it the clubs are great with lots of entertainment and the bars are well stocked which we took advantage of haha but i wouldn't recommend the food unless you enjoy everything fried not much in the way of healthy on offer the kids had a great time so much on offer for them to do day and night this place is really for the kids if you dont have any i wouldn't recommend going also there is a beautiful sandy beach just across the road the best one ive seen in England anyway oh the only complaint i will say about the room is the sofa bed is horrible its like sleeping on a blank of wood but on the plus side the electric meter had money in it and didnt run out the whole 5 days so didnt cost us a penny
