“Great Place for a family”
Reviewed 6 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We loved this place. It has everything for a perfect holiday with children or even friends. It is beautifully decorated and is only a few minutes from the beach. Would definitely rent this place again.

“Wonderful stay in this great house just minutes from the beach”
Reviewed 8 June 2015 for a stay in May 2015

What a wonderful stay at Rye Bay Beach House! This house is literally minutes from the most beautiful sandy beach with sand dunes in abundance. We stayed here with 2 children 6 and 9 who had a comfortable and quiet twin room on the first floor of this modern house. My mother in law had a large private double room and bathroom to herself on the ground floor which she found peaceful and the bed very comfy. The house has a very well equipped kitchen area and an open plan lounge with a large balcony where we sat out and ate every day with the afternoon/evening sun. There is also a family bathroom on this floor. The top floor hosts a huge bedroom! the photos don't do it justice with a balcony to sit out on once the kids have gone to bed! There is an ensuite shower room too with a great powerful shower. This house is simply but beautifully furnished and is bright and spacious. The parking space out the front is a very useful too. We had a great stay here and it is the perfect base for exploring the coastline and nearby Rye.

“Great Location for a Beach Getaway”

we rented Rye Bay Beach house form 8-11 June and stayed with my Husband, son who is 3, Mom and Dad ( Dad is 84 and has a walker) and our Lab
it was a great place that catered for everything. a bathroom for each room, towels and beach mats, toys and crafts for kids when it wasn't so nice out a TV with Dvds, Ipod docking station, games room which we had great fun in and a fully stocked kitchen to do everything from a simple dinner to even baking. It was a great location to both the people and dog beach as it was high season the beach was restricted to no dogs in certain areas but it was only a 5 min walk to entrance to where dogs could go so not far at all. Our Dog slept down in the Games room so she didn't try get on any of the sofas or try see if anything was left on the kitchen counter :)
The balcony outside was lovely but unfortunately it was windy so we didn't get to sit out there much
Bedrooms were great sizes and the bed was comfy. Only downside are those darn seagulls wish they slept but thats the seaside for you.

The Rye Beach Cafe down stairs had GREAT food and were so friendly highly recommend it if you don't fancy cooking.

The Beach itself is lovely but we did notice that the people beach was dirtier than the dog beach. They do patrol the beaches so watch out cause its an on the spot fine if you are on a restricted beach with your Fury Friend. The far left dog beach is pebbles and the far right dog beach was sand. our Dog and us much preffered the sandy side. 1 problem with getting to the beach is that you have a steep sand dune to get up which is the entrance to the people beach right outside the accomodation so if pregnant, or unfit watch out take some breaks on the way up cause its a killer.

The other entrances are more gradual and the main entrance to the people beach is right on the left is right off the car park so for people with walkers like my Dad thats the best place to gain access although he did power it up a sand dune with a little help from Mom.

All in all great few days and owners are incredibly accomodating and helpful in anyway they can, we got a late check out and when it turned out they had double booked us were incredibly helpful to sort the issue out with both parties going away happy.
