“Fantastic stay”
Reviewed 26 July 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Our family, 2 adults and a 5 year old, stayed at Viceroy Lodge for 2 weeks.
It was the perfect base for us.
The bedrooms were a good size, with plenty of storage space to unpack and hide the suitcases away.
The flat had plenty of living/dining space. Great for lazy breakfasts before heading out for the day. Friends had lent our daughter toys and there was plenty of space for her to spread out and play without being underfoot. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a washing machine and a dishwasher.
I can't think of anything that we needed in the flat, and didn't have while we were there.
We had a hire car, and never had an issue getting a parking space at the rear of the flat.

The location is brilliant.
Less than a 5 minute walk to Surbiton station, bus stop right out the front, two minute walk to Waitrose! and less than 5 minutes to the High street for other shops/bars and restaurants.

Martin, the owner, was so easy to deal with. We were in contact prior to our arrival and added a couple of extra nights to our stay, which was no problem at all.
We didn't need to contact him during our stay, but I've no doubt it wouldn't have been an issue if we had.

We will definitely stay here next time we are in the UK.

We were instantly welcomed by the aromas of a freshly cleaned home. There were thoughtful additions such as a welcome tray with wine, treats and a card of greeting. The kitchen was fully equipped and stocked with some basic necessities such as tea, coffee, milk etc. The apartment is in a perfect location, we were able to shop, travel and park our rental car with ease. Martin and Joyce were easily contactable to answer any questions we had and were very helpful and amenable hosts. We have already recommended this place to friends and family and we hope to have the pleasure of staying here again in the future.
