A converted stable block in the grounds of a large house in a nice part of Keyworth. The upstairs rooms are in the roof space, so if you are taller than 6ft you will find it difficult to access the upstairs shower due to the sloping roof and beams. The bed-settee in the lounge is the most uncomfortable thing we've ever sat on. There is no kitchen light switch at the bottom/top of the stairs so you have to cross the kitchen in the dark to switch the light on. Although the bed is listed as a king size, it is only the mattress that is king size, the bed frame is smaller so the mattress hangs over one side. Having said that it was quite comfortable and we slept well. Overall, it was a very quiet and peaceful stay. Would be happy to stay again, using the downstairs bedroom and bathroom. However they really do need to change that settee.
Property was ideal for our needs having a clean and spacious interior in a quiet residential area. Good local amenities - shops, restaurants, pubs etc and very handy for Nottingham city centre. One very slight drawback was the lack of hanging wardrobe space, but this was somewhat offset by the drawer space.
