There seem to be more flamingos late in the afternoon, during the day there are just a few but in the evening they come to have dinner I guess :)

You can stop here to see flamingos before you head to the Tortoise Breeding Center. There were not very many, four, when we were there.

On the edge off the town is the Laguna Salinas, with a short boardwalk viewing platform to observe the pink flamingoes and other bird life that call the lagoon home. The Laguna can also be observed from the boardwalk, with an entrance at the edge of town, which leads to the tortoise breading sanctuary. Definitely worth the visit, to get a taste of the sights to see if you venture along the boardwalk to see the giant tortoise.

I saw about 15 flamingoes in total. This is not a large amount, but the color of these birds are so beautiful, and they are like fairies in the forest.
If you have seen flamingos before, this might not be the best place. If this is the first time, it's nice to pay a visit.

I don#t know how many flamingoes are normally here, but we saw about 15. It was wow to see those really pink birds standing in the wtaer, filetring through with their beak, to fish for food. The pathwalk is really nice and they are also not afraid of humans.
