After a little confusion on the stay. Which Marta and her people promptly took care of. Our stay was as fantastic as always. Marta's price was right and there is no way you will not fall in love with this place. If you are looking for the expensive full service of the Ritz. Then go stay at seven mile. But if you are looking for a cheaper more do it yourself get away then the Reef is your place. Trust me. It is clean and very well maintained. The water is beautiful with plenty of fish right under the pier.plus don't forget to visit the Tarpon over at the Morris pieralso. You are also very close to Rum point. It is an absolute must.
I recommend eating at over the edge at least once. And laying in your Groceries at the Foster's across the street you will find everything you need there. Plus alot of friendly cats that are well taken care of over there. We are going back in July as we always do. You just can't go wrong with Marta and the Reef Resort.
It was clean. Laundry room was the worst I have ever tried to use. No complementary coffee in lobby. Ice machine too far from room. One elevator in entire building. Food was ok but not as good as other places where we ate. Too far from everything. Beach was terrible. Would not recommend.
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Third time to Grand Cayman, all three times we have stayed at the Reef. Spent 13 days relaxing! Hate to leave but will be back. Wonderful staff, very welcoming and friendly. When you leave you feel like your leaving your family :)
We absolutely love The Wyndham Reef Resort. It has such a family feel. Super friendly. We love how the beach isn't crowded like 7 mile beach. Sitting under the coconut trees and chilling all day. The sun sets at your back, not in your face like 7 mile beach, makes for a pleasant afternoon. The snorkel excursion from the resort is a MUST DO. Hundreds of fish! And of course the STINGRAY CITY TRIP with Captain Chris. Our favorite thing about Grand Cayman is there are so many places to snorkel from the beach all over the island. It is a very safe island. I called it our second home because we visit for 2 weeks in the spring and 2 weeks in the fall.
