We went in July-August 2012, had a really great time and can vouch both for the villa and for the honesty of the owners.
Beautiful, typical, clean and well-kept villa in a tiny but wonderfully charming Cretian village (Kokkino Chorio) around 10-15km from Almyrida (nearest main costal town. Nb. the beach there is nice-looking and well-kept but in fact small and artificial - the sand is added on. For real, natural and much larger beaches, we recommend a small trip to Georgioupoli, around a 40-minute drive away).
Very well-equipped place with stunning sea views and a small private pool (shared with Villa Vista 2 if occupied - luckily for us it wasn't when we went, so we had our own private pool!)
Car or motorbike absolutely necessary otherwise you'll be walking for kms and kms in blazing hot temperatures. Very small (and expensive) mini-market not too far away, otherwise you'll have to go to Almyrida at least to find larger places (but still pretty expensive - we never found one which didn't practice tourist prices, even for basic necessities; oh well, there is a crisis going on after all).
Wi-fi would have a been a plus but there are bars not far away providing internet access.
Otherwise, highly recommended and just as described by the owners.
