“Great cottage”
Reviewed 21 February 2017 for a stay in February 2017

Loved our stay at Churn Cottage. Had everything we needed and more! Have two young kids and it was perfect for them - safe both inside and in the garden. Would happily recommend and hopefully return one day.

“Warm cottage, Warm owners”
Reviewed 14 November 2016 for a stay in November 2016

Stayed with friends the first week in November.
We were greeted warmly by Sarah and the children and shown into the equally warm cottage.
Sarah's instructions for arrival were spot on and there is plenty of car parking space outside the cottage in the farm building quad.
The cottage is decorated in a modern yet cosy style with plenty of space and countryside views.
The kitchen is well equipped and there was a nice touch of fresh milk and eggs left for us.
The bedrooms were spacious and tastefully decorated with plenty of storage space.
The bathroom was gorgeous! The shower was a lovely rainfall style and the towels large and fluffy.
I particularly enjoyed the fresh free range eggs, delivered by a charming polite young man.
Some of the evenings we cooked, others we walked to the local pub, The Three Horseshoes which served good food.
All in all I would be more than happy to stay again many times.
Thank you Sarah & children for such a warm welcome.

“Great to be back - again”
Reviewed 22 October 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Back for the third time this year but the first time during the summer months.
As always the accomodation and the hosts were fantastic. The accomodation was clean and the hosts were their welcoming best despite all the day to day activities of running a working farm and in the middle of renovating work.
It was great to see the area at a different time of year to when we are normally there such as the activities in the fields and local events such as a 'Local Produce and Crafts' event in the village hall which was fun to be part of.
With the weather we had It, we were able to enjoy a couple of BBQ's on the patio which was a new experience for us as when we normally stay in February it is normally too cold for us.
Shropshire, Sambrook and the surrouding areas have a lot to offer and there is plenty of places to visit that are open at this time of year, eg. National Trust, English Heritage properties. There are also a number of local walks, some more strenuous than others, but rewarding with absolutely fantastic views across the region and beyond with the great weather we had during our stay.
All in all another great week and another reason to encourage a return as there is still plenty of things for us to see and do.
Thanks Team Sambrook

“Our second visit to a fantastic place”
Reviewed 1 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We have just come home from our second stay at Churn Cottage in less than 12 months.

The cottage is fantastically clean and beautifully presented. As it's all on one floor it is ideal for us with small children (aged 3 & 1) who are running and climbing everywhere. It was great to be able to throw open the doors and let the kids into the garden. The sheep were lovely and friendly and thanks so much for letting us feed the lamb! Also, the toy car and tractor for the garden were a god send!

Plenty to do in the area and this time we visited the Shrewsbury food festival, Attingham Park, Monkey Forest and RAF Cosford. Oh, and we walked round to feed the ducks.

Sarah was so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, have already recommended to some friends and are already considering a potential third trip.

“As fresh as it was when we last stayed 4 years ago”
Reviewed 23 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

4 years ago we found Sambrook Manor Holiday Cottages and stayed at Churn Cottage. we found everything to be comfortable and fantastic then and nothing has changed. tHe cottage still appears as fresh as it was and continues to provide everything you need for a relaxing break.
This is our second stay at Sambrook this year, we were in the Old Shippon first time, but regardless of which cottage you will have a great time.
The hosts continue to be very welcoming and friendly and are always on hand to help despite having to keep an active farm.
The countryside is great for walking and fresh air especially recommended is a walk up Wrekin Hill.
Despite regular visits we continue to find new things to do and I am sure you would too.
