We booked in here for 2 nights so that we could visit our family and drop off presents (due to current restrictions we could not stay with family and had to meet outside).
The hotel is undergoing renovation so we were put in the new rooms far away from the building work and there is a temporary reception that you need to buzz for entry. Everything is set out for Covid and you are asked to wear masks in the corridors.
Our room was on the 1st floor overlooking the car park but due to the hotels location none of the rooms have what I would call a view.
The room was clean and just what you would expect from a Premier Inn.
Comfy bed and tea and coffee making facilities. What more do you need for 2 nights.
There is a Beefeater pub next door for food or just down the road there is a McDonald's, Subway and a Greggs and of course Newport town itself. More
