Description: Important: to avoid disappointment, please call ahead to reserve your moorings / dining table. We are a pub offering great traditional pub food... not a fine dining restaurant and we do not offer table service. Thank you! 2015 Winner of 'Best Food', 'Best Moorings', 'Most Improved Business' on The Broads. The New Inn is a traditional family pub located in the idyllic village of Horning on the Rive Bure, set in the heart of the Norfolk Broads. Since June 2014 The New Inn has been under new ownership with the owners and management team placing an emphasis on utilising Norfolk's finest produce whilst continuing to offer great value for money. The pub has a warm friendly atmosphere and prides itself on serving traditional locally sourced food, high quality Cask ales and fine wines. The New Inn has a spacious riverside garden that includes a covered patio and heated decking area, both are ideal for spending time relaxing by the river and watching the world go by. We have ample free mooring for day boats in our basin and for overnight boats on our quay heading, as well as a car park alongside if you are travelling by vehicle. For those of you who looking for entertainment, we have an outdoor amusements area for the children, air hockey and pool tables, plus quiz nights are held each week on Fridays. We also regularly host live music on Saturdays (please see our upcoming events). Dogs are not allowed inside of the pub (excluding guide dogs), however, well-behaved dogs are welcome on the heated decking and garden areas providing they are on a lead. Polite reminder: The New Inn has become increasingly popular, therefore, please remember to book in advance if you wish to reserve a boat mooring or to dine with us. We close the kitchen between 4pm and 5pm to prepare for the evening service.

We stopped here as a family of six on our way to Bewilderwood and had a main meal for lunch. The food was fresh, hot and delicious! Would highly recommend this pub!

We were staying in the local area and were looking for somewhere serving a good English breakfast on a Sunday morning. A quick Tripadvisor search brought up the Galley in Horning and we initially set off with the intention of eating there.

However when we arrived in Horning (a lovely little village btw) we saw breakfast being advertised at The New Inn and with it’s superb setting on the river, kids amusement park at the rear and onsite parking it was an easy decision to try here instead.

And what a good decision it was! A cracking old school pub and the best English breakfast I’ve had for quite some time. Kids loved it too and staff were nice and friendly aswell.

Stopped here on a recent boat trip, must say guys helping mooring the boats were great!

Some confusion on booking a table (we were advised to as they get busy) but then told when we arrived in the evening that they didn’t do bookings in the covered area outside (we had a dog so couldn’t go in).

Ordered a round of drinks and nearly fell over when we were told how much, I understand that this is a holiday area but no change from £20 for 2 pints and a small glass of wine is rather steep!

The meals were good in general, the burger was dry and over cooked but the lasagne was really tasty.

We stopped here for breakfast last week, and I must say it was the best breakfast I have eaten on the broads. Absolutely superior compared to the many other offerings i've tried here. Everything was top quality down to the lady who served us and her son helped us moor up. Will visit again!
