Description: Important: To avoid disappointment, please call ahead to reserve your moorings/dining table. We are a pub offering great traditional pub food... we are not a fine dining restaurant and we do not offer table service. Thank you! As our opening hours change seasonally, please visit our website. The New Inn is a traditional family pub located in the idyllic village of Horning on the River Bure, set in the heart of the Norfolk Broads. The pub has a warm friendly atmosphere and prides itself on serving traditional home cooked locally sourced food, high-quality Cask ales and fine wines. In addition to our Gluten Free menu, we also offer freshly cooked daily specials, which can be found on our ‘Specials Board’ inside the pub. The New Inn has a large riverfront garden and offers free moorings and parking for patrons. Booking is advisable. Please note dogs are welcome in the outside garden areas only.

Beautiful place in a fab location. We stayed over on our boat for the night. The outside patio area is great. The food was lovely. Pork and apple burger . Louise the bar maid was great ,so polite and really friendly. Was great for kids to. Thank u for letting us stay and we will be returning on our next visit to the broads .

Very busy for Sunday lunch so pleased we had reserved a table which we eventually found. As it was raining we could not see much of the river but on a fine day I assume it would be lovely.
I ordered roast pork loin which were two slices of pork loin slightly thicker than an average slice. They were over cooked and tasteless. The potatoes were very small, skin on “new” potatoes also over cooked and shrivelled.
However, the veg was plentiful and varied.
My O/H had the turkey which was a carved roll I assume with the skin still on. Not the best.
Young waiters rushing around were very efficient and friendly.
The garden was large, lots of seating and there are amusement machines if that’s what you like. Lots of activity on the water.

This pub is the perfect place to moor up and go for a lovely meal when at the Broads. Friendly staff, wonderful food and your boat waiting for you at the end of the garden. What more could you want? Dogs are allowed in the garden and in the covered patio so don’t even have to leave the furry ones behind!

Lovely location to stop for lunch and watch the boats go by, but the food could be improved unfortunately!
Prawn sandwiches had more mayonnaise on them than prawns along with the bread being slightly dry around the edges.

Came along on holiday on the broads. Pre booked my mooring via phone the week before. Upon arrival we were greeted and guided into the mooring. All easy stuff and free if you eat there which we did. The service was excellent...nothing a problem. The food was hot and freshly cooked. Good portions and very tasty. Wine very reasonable. Lovely place to stay and eat.....would definately reccomend and come back. Plenty of specials to choose as well as the main menu. Cask mark ales to boot. Come check it out. You will not be dissapointed.
