We arrived at burnt house farm after booking into what we thought was a pet friendly lodge situated in the farm with our 3 shelties. I was greeted by the host saying oh the lady with the dogs out out out. you can go round to the gate at the side. Well when we were escorted round the back of the pool pump house to what I can only describe as no more than a garden shed which we were charged at £90.00 per night for bed and breakfast. The accommodation did not meet a minimum standard of cleanliness. The garden was not safe for pets. The place was not fit to be let out. we choose not to stay leaving us to try and find alternative accommodation at 7pm at night after a long drive from west Yorkshire.

We had a lovely time at Burnt House Farm. Carmen and Steve are very welcoming. Our little boy loved the chickens, and Charlie our Labrador had a great time meeting Lilly and Beau. The breakfast was lovely and nothing was too much trouble, would definitely recommend! Keep up the good work guys, see you next year!

Our party was Mummy, Daddy & 2 kiddies (2 & 8 year old). We recd a Lovely welcome from Carmen, Steve & their friendly labradors. We used the outdoor swimming pool for an hour which was a nice bonus. Lovely setting with horses grazing in the field popping over to say hello...

Carmen kindly reserved us a table at one of the 2 local pubs which was a 10 min stroll.

Breckie was fab next day, they were accomodating to our kiddies.

Our room had great views & very spacious. Really nice place - highly recommend.

Stayed overnight with our 2 boys on the way to Cornwall, lovely accommodation and a super breakfast to set us up for the next leg of our journey. The owners couldn't make us feel anymore welcome and at home. Very relaxed atmosphere. Our boys thoroughly enjoyed petting the friendly dogs and horses. We will be sure to visit again.

Stayed en route for a night and we stayed in the annexe which consisted of two bedrooms with double & single in each plus a small kitchen & shower/toilet. Owners are very friendly and welcoming, area is quiet & peaceful, great local pub. Brought dog and he was welcome!
