Handy for Brunel Uni, relatively cheap, and has parking, but that's pretty much it for positives. The negatives are that the place is dusty, particularly the public areas, the water pressure for the shower was weak, and there is little in the way of sound insulation (just a shout out to the builders who came in at midnight and then left at 05:00 - Thanks for waking us up!).
Also, it's a bit of a nowhere part of town, with little more than a couple of corner stores, a handful of takeaways, and a couple of dodgy pubs, the nearest of which - the Crown - has recently closed it's kitchen, so finding somewhere reasonable to eat might well mean a bus or taxi into Uxbridge town centre.More
