We spent a night at Bardney Hall and were most impressed with the hotel facilities and the warm welcome by Colin, the owner. The Hall is a fine building set in its own beautiful gardens and its rooms show a real determination to provide an excellent standard of comfort for the guests. Thoughtful and individual touches are evident in each room (we know this because Colin gave us a guided tour of all the available rooms on our arrival) creating a definite 'style'. Our room (The Gold Room) was spacious and very well appointed, with a really comfortable bed - what more could you want to ensure a good nights sleep? An excellent continental breakfast was provided in the morning, included in the price of the room, with a full cooked breakfast available for a reasonable price if desired. We found the continental breakfast, comprising a really good choice of options including cereals, fruit juices, cheeses, pastries etc. and of course, toast, jams and tea or coffee more than enough to set us up for the coming day! Colin was readily available for advice on what to see in the area and where to eat and drink. He and his little friend Bardney ensured a memorable stay. I would thoroughly recommend Bardney Hall, and we would love to return in the future.
Lovely owner. Kept in touch to make sure he was there to greet us on arrival. Beautiful characterful historic house. Luxurious furnishings and bathroom. Super comfortable bed. Beautiful public areas and gardens. Lovely personal touches. Excellent breakfast. Very relaxed which made it feel like a home from home. Excellent value for money. Our dogs were made so welcome too. Give it a try. Treat yourself.
