Can’t think of a single negative thing to say! Noel and Ita were perfect hosts, the food was awesome, the view from the dining room could be restful for hours, etc., etc., etc. I’m an early riser and Noel provided me with the means to make my own coffee when I got up. Very pleasant sitting rooms, lovely walks, and rabbits in the dunes. Definitely plan to stay again!

We stayed at the Rockyview farmhouse in Fanore at the beginning of our driving trip through Ireland. We couldn't have asked for a better beginning or a warmer welcome to Ireland. Noel and Ita were gracious hosts, making time to go over sights to see, give restaurant recommendations, show our 2 children around their beautiful property and providing a delicious breakfast each morning. We stayed for three nights and used this as a base for visiting Galway, Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher. The farmhouse was about an hour and 15 min from Galway and about 20-30 min from Doolin/cliffs. The location of the farmhouse was quiet, with views of the coastline from one side and views of the burren, their gardens and sheep pasture on the other. Walking around the property my kids were delighted to see sheep, cows, rabbits as well as spending time with the resident dog and cats. This was a wonderful stay and recommended for anyone visiting the coast of Co. Clare or the Burren.

We were a family who took 3 rooms for 3 nights and loved every minute of our stay. The rooms are clean, the food outstanding, the hospitality wonderful, and they have amazing gardens and a comfortable garden viewing room that is beyond beautiful. Noel and Ita were accommodating, helpful, knowledgeable, and their care for their environment with energy efficient standards was admirable. They grew up in the area, so they are of great help in assisting travelers with where to go and what to do if you want help. It is not in a town but about a 20 minute drive gets you into Doolin or Ballyvaughn and Fanore beach is very nearby. For those wanting a quiet, more rural retreat with outstanding natural beauty, cleanliness, & service, this is the place. I highly recommend this BnB when traveling in the Fanore area!

We stayed for 4 nights, we would have stayed longer. Excellent base to explore the Burren. Our room was clean, spacious, lovely and it looked out over the Burren mountains. It was very quiet (no TV), and there was plenty of reading matter and games to keep you occupied but we found looking out of the window at Noel's garden and the surroundings fields and hills particularly interesting and never dull.
Breakfast was in a large conservatory where we could relax at night too and admire the wildlife (feral goats, foxes amongst others). Full Irish breakfast but my wife who is coeliac was catered for very well too. There was home made porridge, bread, tomatoes from the garden, eggs how you like them, fresh coffee and tea. Noel and Ita went out of their way to make you feel special in their house. They told us of the best places to visit, to eat, to drink and told us many interesting stories about the area. We will definitely be back.

If you're going to the cliffs of Mohar this is a fantastic, remote place to spend the night. The B&B has sweeping views particularly from the breakfast room that encourage a late start in morning. The rooms and bed are comfortable. The breakfast was particularly good as well. We stayed here our first night in Ireland and Noel and Ita took excellent care of us! We intend to come back someday!
