Lovely, homely bed n breakfast located walking distance from a great local pub. The owner Chris was very pleasant and welcoming, also has very cute collie called Toblerone!

Room was clean, although not the most modern. However the hotel offered a great variety of drinks, snacks and a communal milk as well as a kettle in the room with tea bags, coffee.

Bed was comfy, shower was great and breakfast was delicious! Options for everyone including continental and cooked full english!

Loved our stay, defo reccomend.

I stayed here on the 1st August 2018 for one night with my wife and her sister and husband. This B&B is absolutely beautiful and charming. We were very warmly welcomed by the owner and his wife, introduced to the chickens and their collie dog. The rooms are tastefully decorated we stayed in the "squirrel room" and all the comforts were there. What can we say about the breakfast,it was fantastic and plenty of, unlike some others where you see more of the plate and not much breakfast. The owner made us feel at ease is as much that we stand and have a good old chinwag, which we did as about football and his beloved Luton Town FC. This gentleman is a credit to his business and vice versa. We will definitely be coming back next year.A Great Big Thanks.

Room tip: Lovely views from any of the rooms either rear facing or front facing.

Excellent value for money 3 star establishment(4 star service), very friendly and very helpful owners.
Clean, spacious rooms, everything that was needed and use of the garden for that evening drink during such amazing weather.
Great location, with a local pub(500 metre walk), good parking facility and a very good breakfast cooked to order, excellent stay of two nights and great base to explore.

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights while going to the IOW50 Festival. Thank goodness we decided not to camp and Donna found Kingsmede!
Chris Kelly and Toblerone are wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble.

Our twin room was spotless and comfortable. After being at the IOW50 festival it was a welcome escape!

Location perfect base for exploring the island too. Watch our for the badgers taking over the country roads at night!

Good choice of breakfast, all local produce.

Highly recommended and will stay again

What a wonderful place to stay, we were only there for one night but the service is spot on, a very welcoming and relaxed feel to this quante and beautiful cottage that you walk into, very clean and quiet. The breakfast was all local produce and delicious. I would highly recommend it for a stay, long or short. We have staying in some expensive hotels before but I rate this better than some of them. Looking forward to coming back.
