The house was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed in it. The kitchen was fully equipped and had plenty of plates, mugs etc. There were teabags, coffee and sugar left for us which was very welcome on arrival. Two bathrooms made life easy for us. There was a great view of the salt marsh beyond the garden and the field with the lambs in which could be seen from the kitchen and back bedroom.
The pub across the road did food which was good. The local shop was only 7 doors down and stocked all your basic needs. Large supermarket was only 15 minutes drive away. Everyone we met in the village was very friendly. There were take aways within 10 minutes drive so all very convenient if you didn't want to cook everynight.
The village is situated just off the main road so quiet. The Gower was a great place to be with varying scenery from beautiful beaches, salt marshes and moorland where the livestock roams freely.
A well equipped, comfortable house to stay in whilst visitng a gorgeous part of Wales.

Stayed with a group of friends whilst down in South Wales for a concert at the Liberty Stadium in Swansea. The cottage was spot on - clean, modern, well looked after, comfortable and really good value for money. The views were spectacular. Very handy for the local shop and the pub over the road (The Crofty Inn) which was very friendly and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend Whitford View.
What a wonderful home from home! I cannot speak more highly of this property. I am a real fusspot and I couldn't find anything wrong with it!
It was so clean and everything was in such good condition. The beds were spotless and so comfortable.
The views from the back garden, king size bedroom and kitchen are just breathtaking. You could never tire of this view and it's constantly changing! I enjoyed opening up the curtains in the morning and lying in bed looking out!
We have two young children who also loved it! The garden was safe for them to play out in and they loved the horse as did we!
The local shop (a stones throw away) stocks everything you need for emergencies.
It's a great place to stay to be able to explore The Gower. I would recommend without hesitation! The owners are welcoming, approachable and generally lovely people!

Booked this superb house for myself and some friends for the weekend. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed to make it an awesome weekend.
Rhian owns the property, who is lovely and has recently renovated it to a very high standard...the views out over the estuary are incredible.
The house had some nice touches like Wi-Fi, towels and a bbq which we fully utilised with some epic steaks and burgers from the local butcher.
The pub is literally opposite and there is a little convenience shop a few doors down so no need to drive anywhere if you don't want to. There is enough parking at the front for three cars and a car park just opposite of any more space is needed.
Would definitely book again as we all had a perfect weekend in the Gower!
