I live about 4 minutes walk from here and can't believe I don't visit more often (I guess the prices are a little more than other takeaway/restaurants but well worth the small premium). I have been a few times before and have a fair few takeaways from them too so know what to expect (I've also reviewed them on here before too) but felt compelledto review again as it was just so good. It was my birthday and we didn't really have a plan and sort of last minute decided to go here. It really was excellent. The food is so consistent that I'm surprised they don't have a star yet! Every single part of the meal was delicious and cooked perfectly. The little pickles served with the poppadoms are amazing, the poppadoms are light and crisp. My starter of Welsh lamb was tender and packed with layers of flavour. I had chicken chettinad for main which was lovely. The layers of flavour with sweet/savoury/spice was great and the chicken was tender and moist. The mushroom rice was flavoursome and the garlic naan bread was soft and charred and flavoured excellently with garlic. I can't recommend this place enough. It is excellent value for money compared to the other choices in Bromley. I'd go as far to say this is the best restaurant of this type I've been to so far anywhere (and I went to Zaika in Kensington a couple of times). Infant wait to go back and try some of the other dishes!

We used to eat at CC a couple of years ago when the food was fab and pleasantly different to any other restaurant of its type.

After a seriously poor evening whilst trying of the tasting menu and a totally lack of acknowledgement from the management we decided to give it a miss for a while.

We went for another go on Saturday and the ambience and service were great, the food was ok, not wow, but ok. 2 people, three courses each and nice bottle of Pino Noir was £160. Back in the old days that would have been fine but the quality is just not that good any more......

Sorry CC you need to be better, we won’t be trying again and stick with Mogul in Sidcup or Cinamon Club in Smith Street instead.

We loved the ambiance and the quite homely atmosphere in the restaurant, good hospitality and above all the authentic taste of the food. I would definitely recommend this place for special occasions with family and friends.

An excellent and well presented restaurant to eat in. Friendly and very well presented staff. Attentive but not over bearing service. A diverse menu totally different from your normal Indian curry house. My wife had the ostrich starter which tasty although in her opinion a little over cooked. I had soft shell crab excellent. Main courses were great to, stir fry buffalo for my wife tasty but beware can be spicy hot. The kid goat vindaloo was spot on. Cocktails to die for and a very good wine and spirits list. Not cheap but excellent value for the dinning experience beats the normal curry house hands down.

All five of my party were very impressed by the standard and finesse of the food, it's presentation and the general ambience. If you want to impress someone important, who is at all interested in fine Indian dining, this is the place to go! Even the music was well chosen, interesting, without being too intrusive. Good taste exemplified!
