If you are ready to go basic and enjoy the simple things this place is for you! Rooms super comfortable, pool perfect and amazing setting to be right in front of the beach! I will totally come back for more nights. For food most try the vendors on the highway to Todos Santos. Perfect family owned taquerias that have some of the best price. Or head to the sister hotel right next door for more resort setting.

Imagine a round concrete platform on a beach, barely large enough to fit a queen size bed. Now imagine surrounding that with palm thatch and a thatched room, with a sliding glass door facing the ocean.

On each side of your bed is a tiny nightstand, and at the foot of your bed, a little chair.

Now imagine that there are about a dozen of these little bed-huts, about 20 feet from each other, all lined up on a beach.

That's it.

No bathroom, no sink.

No front desk staff, no room service, no staff around at all.

If this seems like a good idea, you might like this place.

Yes, it was a bed in a hut. That's it. No drinking water, pool was unswimmable, no food (other than outrageously expensive options down the beach - or a wonderful pizza shop completely in the middle of the dark desert!). Check-in is way down the beach on the top of the cliff. We were the only customers and we were flying by the seat of our pants so we just picked a place and drove up.

We had spent the previous week in tents on the beaches of Espiritu Santo so we were used to living/ sleeping out. This was not nearly as good. We were treated decently but it definitely felt like the hotel was not really open.

We made a reservation in September to stay here for 6 nights. We knew it was going to be rustic but we were up for it. Well, we showed up around 6 pm to check in and there was no one around. We asked some people on the beach and they said to check with the neighboring resort, who made a phone call to find out what was going on. All they could tell us was that it was "unavailable". Luckily it was not the high season and we were able to find a room elsewhere, but what a crap show!

Purchased what appeared to be an awesome beach camping style trip! You purchase the Groupon deal then make the reservations directly through the resort. Sounds typical and easy however.... We had to request a refund. The resort never returned phone calls and only wanted to communicate via email. This took many weeks but they were certainly quick to let us know they required a $50 booking fee before they would start the booking process with us. The resort confirmed receiving our check but never responded after that. Groupon refunded our money however we are still dealing with the resort to get our $50 back. What a horrible way to run a resort. We really wanted to go on this vacation..
Still very heart broken......
