I was in the same group of friends as Duncan B, and can only reflect his review. A warm welcome; excellent breakfasts (and coffee!); and clean and comfortable rooms (mine - no. 3 - was below the breakfast room, with a similarly excellent view over Penzance and the bay).
This was the first time in about 30 years that I've travelled down to the tip of Cornwall, and the Panorama is a great base from which to explore the area. The Minack Theatre is just a few miles away. We didn't have the opportunity on this short visit, but I'd love to return and catch a play in this spectacular cliff-top location.
Eating/drinking highlights were the Newlyn Meadery at the bottom of the hill, and the Admiral Benbow pub/restaurant in Penzance.More
