Staying in White Rose with friends was very special for all of us. As we came down from the car, our hearts leapt up on seeing the cottages nestled in the valley and that view beyond. We loved being that close to the sea and in such a peaceful location. The cottage itself was very compact, especially upstairs. A lot of thought had gone into making optimal use of the space. Downstairs was comfortable, light and lovely to relax in with a very homely feel to it. The kitchen was well equipped. The garden was delightful with a sunny, sheltered area - and a family of goldcrests in the tamarisk tree. Brian made us feel very welcome. We didn't want to leave and hope to come back to such a special place.
Sennen Cove is a ten minute walk along the path at the top of the beach. St. Just is a short drive away for shopping, art galleries and Cornish pasties. Land's End is a pleasant hour-long cliff walk with wonderful sea views out to Longships Lighthouse.
