We recently spent 3 nights at this wonderful property to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was perfect - great room, great facilities, wonderful ambience and superb hosts Kim and Simon who couldn’t do enough for us. Their warmth, attention to detail and culinary prowess were the icing on the cake.

The best hosts in the world, Kim & Simon will welcoming you with warm and a wealth of local knowledge. This is the most relaxing escape and only 2 hours from the city. We recommend staying 2 nights - enjoy dinner with your hosts one night and be sure to visit the local wineries (St Aidan’s) and ensure you have a long lunch at Hackersley. Check out the local brewery too. You’ll love the peace and quiet, fresh country air and the friendly people in The Ferguson Valley. We’ll be back for sure.

We feel so lucky to have discovered the best kept secret... Pepermint Lane Lodge in the Ferguson Valley! Thanks Kim & Simon for the most unforgettable stay! We enjoyed every second of the weekend. Kim & Simon are the hosts who have a passion for food, wine and travel. They couldn’t do enough for us. They took us around, cooked us the most incredible breakfasts and went above and beyond! The accomodation was cozy & comfortable. Fresh apples, baked slices and chocolates in the room. Thank you for a truly unforgettable guest experience in paridise. We can’t wait to come back soon!

If you are looking for a very comfortable and welcoming stay while in Ferguson Valley look no further than Peppermint Lane Lodge. You will have your own beautifully decorated private cottage with en-suite bathroom, living room and views of the valley.

The owners Kim and Simon can’t seem to do enough to make ones stay as perfect as can be, from delicious home cooked breakfasts with fresh eggs from their chooks to late night chats by the fireplace with a glass of red.

Perfect for a short stay while you explore the valley.

We stayed at Peppermint Lane Lodge in July 2018. The location is spectacular with a creek running through the property during Winter. Blue Wrens are frequent visitors to your balcony. The room was beautiful and the bed super comfy with an electric blanket a welcome treat on the freezing night we arrived. Breakfast was amazing. We also booked dinner in the main house. Kim and Simon and excellent hosts cooking a banquet of their signature baby beets with wasabi (to die for) for entree, Quail cooked to perfection with a number of delicious accompaniments and amazing dessert. Lively conversation accompanied by delicious local wines stretched well into the evening. We love staying with Simon and Kim at Peppermint Lane. The rooms are very private, away from the house, but you feel part of the family when you join them for meals. Location wise, you couldn't ask for better with the property surrounded by wineries and galleries. My preference is to stay in Winter or Spring when the weather is cooler. Can't wait to go back.
