The hotel I can not fault and staff, the things that let it down is where it is situated on a main road with path, so it is not safe even to walk to the local pub. The rooms are all situated on the ground floor. The food was very good the bar area was small and no where to sit the lounge is also in the wrong place. Norwich is not to far about twenty min on the bus

Thanks for your review. It is really unfortunate there is no path to the left of us. There is however a wide grass verge you can walk along to Spixworth. We can provide details of local taxis and buses and are not adverse to giving the odd lift here and there. If you visit us again and you are stuck please feel free to ask.

We are regulars at the White Horse and thought it was high time we tried the Old Rectory. A set price for a three course Sunday lunch which was faultless apart from possibly wanting more exciting vegetables than peas, carrots and cauliflower but know many people like these mainstays.
Everything was to perfection and quantities ample for most appetites.
Yes we will return and may even stay despite it being so close.

Thank for taking the time to review our services. We are thrilled you enjoyed your meal. Our Sunday lunches are very much traditional, however our vegetable selection does vary from week to week and also seasonally. I will certainly pass on your thoughts to the chef. We look for forward to seeing you again on your return visit.

Stayed here on a business trip and the place is lovely. The staff and owner were all extremely accommodating and so friendly. Will definitely use again if in Norwich area. I wish I had time to relax around the garden more.

As we were attending a family party we decided to stay overnight.
The food at the family gathering was good.
Afterwards we sat in the loverly gardens for a quiet drink to relax .
Our room was not large but well appointed , clean with all the usual accompaniments. Later we had a sandwich in the conservatory Dinning room and were surprised at the extras ......
the breakfast was very good , it was staged as local produce and you could tell it was.probably one of the best full English I have had in a hotel.
The staff were all attentive but not overbearing and very friendly .
All in all a very enjoyable stay.
I would thoroughly Reccomend this hotel .
