We happened upon this little Osteria today in Burano. what a delight it was. I asked for gluten free and the waitress was very helpful and checked with the kitchen. We decided on the seafood risotto and were not disappointed. It was absolutely delicious - probably the best seafood risotto I have ever eaten. The waitress was friendly and helpful and even offered free limoncello after our meal. I can highly recommend Al Fureghin!

Our group of 6 stopped at Al Fureghin for morning pastries, espresso, cappucinno, etc. The waitress/attendant did the best she could with our limited Italian and her limited English. All food and drink was brought out to our canal side table promptly and was delicious Everyone in the group agreed this establishment should receive the "Cleanest Rest Room in Europe" award.

We had mussles and scallops as starters, and house made tagliatelle Fureghin for me (with sea food) and with home made pesto, both a delight, with a glass of house prosecco. We ate in the upstairs dining room, but the canal side tables are equally pleasant. We had our aperitif there.
Quiet and authentic. Affordable. Recommended.

I am sorry to talk about unsatisfaction as overall result of our lunch experience.
The place is nice and clean and the staff very pleasant and kind, everything working well with starters especially the "sarde in saor".
Unfortunately then we had to wait really too long for the main course made of pasta with seafood and fried mackerel, both without taste apart from too much salt, the same we found also in the final bill.
I am feeling that we were there in the wrong day, potentially excellent.

We saw from out side that this restaurant has a sticker of tripadvisor so i thought it may be good. We set outside with a nice view, the waitresses was not nice, they barely knew English, so it was not easy to understand them, although there was not so many people they were very nervous. The Wi-fi didn't work. We waited long time for the food. (It was only Capressa and Salmon- not from the oven) the bill was extremely high. There is extra fee of 2€ per person in the bill.
