We just returned from 12 days in Italy and are still talking about our one night at the Corte del Sasso. If you've ever tried to picture life in the mountains of Italy 400 years ago this is it. No city noise, gorgeous views, and the most gracious and wonderful host you could ever ask for. Paola was a gem. She waited and worried about our arrival as we were coming in very late after attending an Opera near Ravenna. She was waiting in the driveway when we pulled in a 2:30 am. Our next trip to Italy will be spent here as we explore the neighboring sites like San Marino, Rimini, and San Leo. Worth the drive into the hills to stay here.
The entire facility was rebuilt/remodeled just a few years ago and had all of the modern facilities, 5 Star at least. When you walk in you will see it is just as the pictures show. But the charm of your host has to be experienced. Breakfast was full of all natural/ organic food from the area.More
