For some reason these people will not exchange Aussie Dollars. I asked why, and was told “it’s policy”. Why is it policy? “I don’t know, they said”. Can I speak to Manager? “He doesn’t come to Hotel”, they said.
Every other worldwide currencies were accepted.
Maybe it’s that they don’t like us, or the AUD is useless to Thais.
Other issues that cause me to write this ..... we stopped for a nightcap coffee and ice cream at 9PM. The coffee came, no sugar no milk, but the ice cream didn’t turn up at all, after 30mins wait. And they wanted to charge us.
I waited 30 minutes for two poached eggs at breakfast, I ended up going into the kitchen to get them myself.
There service is terrible. I had a meal at their Restaurant last night, I have been violently ill ever since ... both ends.
Added to this, you try complaining and they conveniently can’t speak English, when they were fluent when you arrived.
