It is costly but very exclusive, with a romantic setting in a cave. We enjoyed eating there when we were in Thailand. We specialy hired a car staying in Phuket and drove to this restaurant. Had a enjoyable boat ride and good food

We were a family of 5 adults and stayed for 5 nights in April. We were greeted on arrival by the duty manager, the check-in process was smooth and we then very quickly shown to our two adjacent deluxe pavilions.
The rooms are exceptional with high quality fixtures and fittings throughout.
There is quite a lot off walking to do between restaurants and facilities and it's definitely a jungle setting.
The surrounding scenery is stunning, especially from the pool overlooking Railay beach.
Breakfast was a mix of buffet and a la carte which we all enjoyed very much.
We ate at the Raitalay Terrace and the Grotto which were both very enjoyable.
They also provide a complimentary afternoon tea 3 times per week which included ice-cream.
A really special touch was for our son who was celebrating his 21st birthday the day we left. Susan who was one of the management team arranged a cake, a bottle of wine and a card signed by a lot of the staff.
Although there are quite a few other hotels, bars and restaurants, the hotel is only accessible by boat, so you do feel quite isolated.
All the staff were fantastic with nothing being too much trouble.
My only real complaint were the mosquitos, we all got bit quite a lot.
In summary we had a fantastic time at the Rayavadee and would not hesitate to recommend it.

5 stars to this Resort on location as it is surrounded by the ocean. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed every sunset and sunrise here.. beautiful beach property. Staff very efficient and food is top class. They arranged tours which was organised well. Definitely would love to come back here on my next trip.

We spent 6 nights at Rayavadee in April. From the start - having being dropped at the resort's private pier at Krabi - the service was perfect. The boat transfer to the resort was spectacular, and it's the first time we've been transferred by tractor and trailer (to get guests off the speedboat)! Our pavilion was amazing, probably the best 'room' we've stayed in anywhere, even though it was the lowest grade accommodation in the resort. Our 10 year old loved the large pool, and would have spent all her time in there if we'd let her. The restaurants were all fantastic, although a bit on the pricey side, even for a resort like this (we were spending about £200 a day on food and drink for the three of us, without going particularly overboard). The resort even sent someone with us to the airport when we left to ensure we were able to check in ok. Overall, thoroughly recommended as a luxury destination....

Top notch hotel located on Railay Beach. Rooms are spacious, clean and very spread out from one another. Lots of different walking trails for guest to explore the entire resort. The staff was extremely helpful during our entire stay and the restaurants on site were good. I only wish that one of the beaches were private. Lots of commotion caused by visiting tourists and long tail boats during the day. Not a big enough issue to avoid this spectacular hotel all together.
