“Excellent Biker Friendly B&B”
Reviewed 1 August 2011

I stayed here for one night with a friend as a stopover on the way back from the Black Forest, Germany to Calais. Ian and Carol were very friendly and offered us both a cold beer once we arrived. The only downside for me was that there inst much to see or do in the village of Dun-sur-Meuse nor are there many restaurants.

This is a great pace to stop on route to or from anywhere in Europe. Ian and Carol were exceptionally welcoming. The secure bike parking made it very relaxing. We definately consider stopping by on the next trip.

Owners, Carol and Ian have an excellent B&B that's perfectly situated for Motorcycle touring from the UK. There is secure Bike parking and the rooms are traditional and charming. The newly refurbished en-suite was spotless and the charming little village it's situated in, is quiet and peaceful. The house is situated right on the river, next to a small bridge. There are restaurants in close walking distance and Carol was happy to make the bookings for us. After a long tiring day in the saddle, I had a great nights rest and a pleasant breakfast to start the day.
Highly recommended.

If your reading this and planning a motorcycling trip to this part of France or further afield then this is the place to break your journey or be your base.
A very well run, clean and friendly B&B in a great location that is run by a very relaxed couple. Very motorbike friendly with a safe locked garage big enough for everybody's bikes, the house is dedicated to bikes and to a slightly lesser degree the local world war history (in fact there is a monument to the first war Americans right next door).
good local restaurants within very close proximity, and a wealth of historical places to visit within easy reach make this an ideal place to stay awhile if on a long tour or over a long weekend.
If your into fishing, take a travel rod and a bit of kit, as the Meuse is only feet away (literally).
