We stayed at this great resort for 5 days and were incredibly well looked after. The restaurant is great, Helen, the owner takes great care in the planning/preparation of a wonderfully fresh menu. We arranged a fishing trip with Rick and I have never seen so many fish in my life. Within 1min of your line going in, there were huge bites. Rick knows all the good spots. The resulting sashimi was the freshest I've ever had. Accomodation was great for our family of 5.
thanks Helen and Rick for such a memorable holiday. Floss and John

We love getting away to Point Samson Resort - it is becoming regular because it is such a peaceful break. The food and drinks are fantastic and they do everything they can to make you comfortable!

My partner and i stayed in the spa suite celebrating a special occasion. From the moment we walked into reception, we were impressed, it is clean, and decorated aesthetically. The staff were very polite.
The room was gorgeous, with a comfortable spa, and everything you could need, double basin vanity, flat screen television, and a bed that i had one of my best nights sleep ever in. It also has small kitchen area, which we opted to not take advantage of and eat at Ta-Ta's restaraunt, which is attached to reception.
The food was fantastic, the best meal in the Pilbara. It's quite an intimate venue, with very few staff, but they look after you. Most of the mains are about $40, so on a budget you wouldn't get a chance to eat here very often.
We organised breakfast to be had in the room the next morning, and the staff were more than happy to obligue, we sat in the small private court yard area soaking up a little sun and enjoying a delicious breakfast. Then a swim in the pool! It is shaded, with nice gardens and decorated with the most amazing hand made tile mosiac i've ever seen.
Check out time came all too soon, we contemplated staying another night, but after consulting reception to enquire and seeing our bill, the expense was just too great for us to afford it. We really did have a wonderful time though!

Point Samson Resort was the most expensive place we stayed during our trip at AUD 205,-- and what for? The room (we had room 11) is not very large but it's self contained and very clean. Also split a/c and a good bed but overrated. The hotel has only 12 rooms and is close to the beach (a mayor attraction in Point Samson.) Its restaurant Tata's is right in the middle of the property and also is expensive but serves good food. Nevertheless we liked it here. Very good and friendly staff, a great small poolarea and the grounds look like an intimate French miniresort. Very pristine and nice with lush gardens. Recommended!
