The location is absolutely stunning. However, the kitchen is not well-stocked, the mattresses are hard and the communal meals are not substantial. We chose the "glamping" option, but our tent had a hole in it, and it leaked when it rained. The staff did not fix it, despite several requests to do so. The water and electricity were also cutting in and out. It's worth it to stay here for a night or two for the setting alone, but just be prepared for some issues.

OMG!!! I loved this hostel so much I never wanted to leave. I spent five nights in Salento, and enjoyed every minute. I still think about my favorite dog Pablo. Ok, this hostel is very affordable, clean, and only a 15mins walk from the center. The views are amazing, its quiet at night, and the showers are hot. The breakfast is served as if you are at a diner. I can't say anything bad about this place. Super comfy.

Room Tip: Beautiful views of nature

The views are stunning and it was great to be out of the main bustle of Salento. However it was incredibly crowded, the mattresses were really hard and uncomfortable and the kitchen is very badly stocked. Only a few pans, most of which have no handles. Lack of good bowls and cooking utensils. As it's 30 mins walk from shops, a good kitchen is essential!

The hostel is located right outside the village of Salento (20 mins walking), it is immersed in the nature with a very nice view on the valley and the mountains. If you want to avoid to stay in the crowded and touristic streets of Salento it is an excellent option. Breakfast is included, but it only includes eggs and coffee/tea, for all the rest you have to pay extra. There is a common living room and kitchen, and you really feel like at home! Staff is very nice and helpful.

This has got to be hands down the prettiest hostels I have ever stayed at! Also the dinners every night are great. I was there for two nights and the first night I went I sat with 8 random people on the table and for the next two days we proceeded to do all the regions activities together. I wouldn’t have met or had some of the awesome experiences I did with these people if it wasn’t for the home cooked dinner on the first night. I have never seen anything like it at any other hostel.

The walk from town isn’t a major issue, it’s a nice stroll especially considering the lovely surroundings. English was spoken at reception which is helpful. Only downside was the only power point in a room for four was in the bathroom.
