Nice beach, reef is poor, it's very shallow and the waves make it a dangerous spot unless your skilled. More beer bottles then fish. Its better farther out but would need a calm day to get out that far.

Although this beach can be hard to find, its great for a day visit. The beach is located in a cove and is usually exempt from the ocean waves and is usually quite tranquil. Snorkelling is not too bad and you don't have to go far to see many types of fish. the sand bottom goes out quite far. There are many food vendors that are quick to get you a table and chairs and the food is good and served fast. Most of the items on the menu are sea food (Fried fish, shrimp, lobster, octopus and conch) but they also carry chicken if sea food does not to your taste. Lots of parking Monday to Friday but it is a very popular beach with the Dominicans and can get very crowded on Saturday and Sunday. Go on a weekday and make a day of it.

Great beach, but the salesmen were aggressive. Only go on a planned excursion, the place did not feel safe.

Beautiful bay with clean sand and crystal clear waters, local vendors offer not only souvenirs but grilled seafood served to you with a Presidente beer obviously.

Beautiful beach. Would have loved to spend the entire day here. Nice vendors sell souvenirs on the beach and great photo opportunities await!
