For us, the house was larger than needed (just 2 of us), but we could step outside and walk to a waterfall hike down to one of several outstanding villages that seemed to have stood still in time. The living and dining areas were large and comfortable, and there were kitchens both inside and outside (the property is best used in warm weather with a pool and several outdoor sitting areas). Beds are comfortable, but cooking space and equipment quite minimal (no real knives that can cut, no oven), and toiletries are not provided. The owner is not local, but he was readily available by phone and his representative, Jean-Claude, was extremely helpful and available (he is a neighbor). Renters are expected to furnish their own linens, but Hans made an exception for us as travelers from the US. Loubressac is a stunning village perched on a cliff, with walks or short drives to Autoire, Rocamadour, Padirac and its exciting caves, Saint Cere and other sites in the Lot region of the Dordogne. We stayed a week - but there was much we didn't get to see
Perfect location, the house have the most excelent view from the terrasse, remember to visit Rocamadour.
