A beautiful, quirky 16th century cottage ideally located to explore the area. Based in Colyford you have choice of two pubs and an excellent local butchers plus general store.
The cottage offered great living space for 4 adults and 1 toddler.
Couple of downsides - the cottage is located on a busy main road - with no pavement directly outside the property. The garden whilst a beautiful size - requires a lot of TLC. The kitchen had an underlying mouldy smell and some of the pots/utensils had mould spores on them.
Lovely cottage in quiet village setting. Cottage was very quirky with many lovely features. As a family with teenagers the lack of wifi was frowned upon and the lack of lighting from parking area to rear of property at night could cause problems as on 3 levels. Maybe something the owner should consider for future. Two local Pubs on same road very welcoming. The Seaton Wetlands and River walk near cottage was enjoyable. Would happily return in future.
