My son had his wedding reception there 31/3/18,
The car park had enough room for safe off street parking
The rooms were warm very clean very tidy and of a high standard , tea coffee biscuits and many other options available all within our room
Upon arrival from the ceremony all the staff could not do enough to make this day special .
Their range of drinks very extensive and even made by request a special large shot cocktail for my new American family .
The food was endless upon arrival
The main meal was perfect
The staff continued to be so friendly and helpful all night , their recommended d j certainly helped all the guests mix and dance , the management even rallied round the slow ones so that everybody had a very special day and evening
The breakfast the following morning was of very high standard with endless tea and coffee
Faultless !!!!
Look forward to trying their other premises in Sussex

The room was disgustingly cold.. when you opened the bathroom door it was like opening a freezer door..wind was howling through the bathroom window even though it was closed.. Breakfast was very cold - the only item on the plate that was hot was the sausage! Nice portion but a massive shame it was inedible..
At £120 for one night we most definitely expected better! Would never return!

We ate in here with friends on Saturday night and were not disappointed. The food was excellent quality and not just a traditional pub food menu- they had some lovely specials. The portion sizes are extremely generous! We will definitely be back but it is at the pricier end of pub food. We were £92 per couple with 4 starters, 4 mains, 1 side, 2 desserts, large bottle of sparkling water, 4 pints & 5 spirits with mixers.

An excellent hotel. We were upgraded on arrival at no extra cost. The staff were super helpful. The room was clean and very spacious and the bathroom was really smart. A large deep, freestanding bath was much enjoyed by the mrs. All the food we had was superb,a tad expensive but you get what you pay for. I recommend the full rack of ribs for dinner. Really good and a massive portion.

Stopped here on the off.- chance as I passed by this afternoon. The restaurant was very busy it the staff found time to be helpful and welcoming, including an offer to show me the accommodation. The food looked fabulous and having eaten at Battle I was not surprised. This bar / restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and excellent staff as welll as good wine and beer - and very good coffee.
