We stayed in a tent and this place is geared towards RV'ers but still really nice for tenting. It is pretty and has lots of trees. The gift shop had a lot of little things that were fun. This is a bit outside of Whitehorse, so you do have to drive about 10 minutes to get anywhere so you need to go else where to eat and get supplies. The showers are included in men's and women's washrooms and that was a nice perk (considering most are pay showers). Bathrooms and showers were clean and it was a nice stop! We would go again

Room Tip: Campground, not rooms.

The GOOD.
It has a beautiful gift shop. Seriously. Look no further for souvenirs. Also, the store has big bags of ice for $4. The people who work here are friendly and knowledgable. There is a spacious double sani-dump. There are big free showers that are clean most of the time. Not if you time it when it's busy, but that's not the campsites fault...people can be pigs. There is a good quality 24hr laundromat onsite. There is a big common shelter cabin for tenters. Variety of site options (P/W/S/C or P/W or dry). It is very easy to find, right off the highway. It's fairly close to town, only a couple Kms.
The BAD.
Most of the sites are very small and very close together. Like ridiculously close together. If you choose here, get here before 4pm and pay the extra for a full service sani site along the perimeter. It is worth the extra $10/night. If you are over 22ft, or if you are staying for any length of time this is a must. Big rigs, you better know what you're doing and be able to park at an expert level. The sites are not angled from the road which makes it hard.
The sites are so small, you cannot use your fire pit. The park really should remove them so some idiot doesn't set a camper on fire.
There is only 1 central garbage/ recycling area at the front.
It's not a bad park if all you are expecting is a conveniently located stop over/ restocking spot and nothing more.

Campground is small, relaxing and quiet. Staff is SUPER nice and helpful. No free internet.....it barely works even when you pay for it...HORRID.....I stayed a week, cost me an extra $38.00 for this horrid Internet.......the park says you get 30 minutes free....don't believe it....

Room Tip: Not for very large units, (cramped)

We stopped here on our way through Whitehorse and very much appreciated the easy way we could access the business road through town (for Wal-mart and a great meal at Klondike Ribs & Salmon), as well as the main road to continue to Haines Junction and on to Haines. Clean, convenient pull-thru, nice staff. We would stay here again.

Called early in the morning to make a 3 night reservation. Requested full hookups with 30 or 50 amp service. Stated they had a back in with 30 amp and would try to get a pullthru w/ 30 or 50 by the time we arrived. Got there at 1:30 and attendant pulled our request. Stated we had a backin w/20 amp service. I said we had requested 30 or 50 w/ pullthru if possible. He stated this was all they had and there was nothing he could do. This was after giving them my CC info at 8:00 in the morning. He never offered any options and that was all they would do. Customer service skills=0. Overall customer satisfaction rating=0
Never returning to this place. Also looked very tight from what we could see
