Very authentic Morroccan food, excellent service, bring your own wine. The lamb tagine was outstanding, just like in Fez, the chicken and lamb skewers also outstanding!

We were looking for something different for a simple vegetarian meal. The salads were hearty and delicious (apple, cucumber lentil was our favorite) - the coucous was a bit dry. The flavor of the falafel was great but it was too greasy.
Overall a nice meal!

We fancied a change from the usual Canadian and French cuisine so decided to try Chez Amira this evening after recommendations from Trip Advisor. We were made very welcome and the service was quick but without being rushed like some if the tourist restaurants in the main part of the city. I ordered the lamb tagine and it was amazing as the meat fell off the bone, my husband had the same and my daughter the chicken skewers which they adored. This restaurant is so relaxed and is not licensed so you can take your own alcohol which makes it so reasonable in fact this was one of the best meals we have had in Quebec but the cheapest! Would highly recommend this amazing restaurant for a great meal away from the tourist area.

We stumbled upon this restaurant when looking for food outside of the main tourist areas. Our waiter was Paul and he took very good care of us. The falafel is delicious. It is obviously fresh and made in the restaurant. We both had tagine and were pleased. I had the lamb with raisins and onions and my friend had the vegetarian. Best food and service we've had in Quebec!

We visited Restaurant Chez Amira on a Wednesday evening in June.

We were warmly welcomed by the server. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived (around 7 pm) but quickly became much busier.

We had two tagines: one with lamb and prunes, the other with the breast of chicken. Very good.
