We had dinner in the private room, Le Bibliotheque, and it was wonderful. Great food, great wine and great service.

On the last evening of our holiday we dined at Champlain at the Hotel Frontenac. It was a fantastic meal from beginning to end. The service was outstanding and absolutely everything was delicious.
Looking for the best brunch Quebec City has to offer? Book a table on a Sunday at Champlain. The brunch is huge, serving breakfast stuff, fish, meat, cheese, and a huge diversity of desserts. The decor is also fantastic. It’s a classic in Quebec. You must try the Wellington beef... it’s their specialty.
Views of St Lawrence, an opportunity for a nosey around Chateau Frontenac and a fab brunch. It’s relatively expensive but you can splurge out! I ate 4 courses incl, fish, beef wellington, cheeses then desserts! The buffet options are as good as I’ve seen & it still feels fairly exclusive. Definitely one to book in advance for a Sunday. Then spend the rest of the day walking 20,000 steps around the Old City to walk it off!
Sunday brunch buffet is okay. If I compare it to Vegas’ Bacchanal, Wicked Spoon, Wynn or Bellagio’s Sunday Brunch then it is overpriced. The selection is okay... no crab legs... but service is excellent and the view of the Sainte Lawrence river makes up for it.
