I've been leading group tours for the Columbus Museum of Art for about 20 years. I have to say this is my favorite hotel on the planet. It is large enough to have great service and amenities but feels like a small boutique hotel.

The public spaces are cozy and welcoming. They are decorated with beautifully displayed pieces of glass, pottery, and metal objects found on site when the hotel was expanded. They even found and actually display one of Quebec's missing batteries complete with a French cannon. It's in the bar/lounge. The jazz singer's rendition of "summertime" was incredibly moving.

The adjoining restaurant Panache has a wonderful breakfast/brunch. Our group loved the eggs served with duck confit.

Staff, from the ladies who replenished coffee and tea in the rooms to the young men who greet you at the door, are extremely helpful and courteous.

We are very happy with our stay at this hotel. Very comfortable place in a wonderful location. Fantastic restaurant . Very large nicely decorated room. Receptionist went out of her way to show us a few room styles ,to make sure we are happy with the one we chose. Nice bar ,where you can relax after long walks. we will definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends.

Lovely hotel with a young staff who aim to please. Excellent concierge staff especially Francois and Genevieve. Panache had excellent food. You are located in the Old Town so you can walk everywhere easily. We loved our hotel!!

Room Tip: Room 508 has a lovely balcony to see the river.

We had a lovely room with a small terrace outside with chairs and great views. It was even warm enough a couple of times to sit out! Service was what you'd expect from a hotel of this calibre. Genevieve the concierge was superb, can't praise her enough, a simply delightful lady, very helpful. Room was lovely too, really big bed! And a heated floor and heated loo seat in the bathroom!!! Two criticisms of the room - not enough storage & the small light in the bathroom stayed on all night and came through the small window in the bathroom to light the room. There wasn't a switch to turn it off but it did keep us awake. In the end we arranged the towels over the window which helped.
Hotel also in a really good location, within easy walking distance of Quebec City and other restaurants and attractions. I believe there is parking there although we arrived and left by taxi.
Would recommend - certainly enhanced our visit to QC!

Room Tip: Go for a room on a higher floor with views of the river.
