I'm from Montreal and I heard about that aquarium and as soon as I saw pictures of that hallway with water and fish all around I knew I had to give it a visit. It's a small aquariums with different little buildings with themes. It's quite nice and has a quiet place. If you plan on visiting go around 12pm to make sure you could assist the little shows they have going on. I don't regret a second ! Just make sure you know that it's not that big. My other favorite place was dark rooms with different lighting and there's jellyfish just swimming around.

The aquarium is small compared to most we have visited, and perhaps it was the time of year we went (late September), but there was construction everywhere, the glass was dirty and foggy in a lot of enclosures, and some of the displays (the exotic fish) weren't even open to the public because of construction. I realize maintenance has to happen, but it might be a good idea to explain this to the public when they are purchasing tickets. The walruses and polar bears were great!! Free parking is nice.

We went without the kids and it was a nice visit. We spent the morning at the aquarium and had plenty of time to visit the exhibits and see the animals. The polar bears are gorgeous and the seal show is fun to watch. We really enjoyed the deep water jelly fish exhibit. Our visit to the aquarium was one of the highlights of our weekend in Quebec City and would go back with the kids.

The aquarium is large, but not too large in size. Definitely expect to spend a few hours there. My boyfriend and I enjoyed ourselves, walking around looking at all the exhibits and the interactive components were really cool. You can pet sting rays and touch starfish which was super cool, but be warned that this is definitely a family attraction so there will most likely be lots of children. Still definitely worth the trip though! Had tons of fun!

This aquarium has a two indoor pavilions and several outdoor enclosures with large mammals like walruses. There are also arctic foxes and birds of prey. Inside the pavilions are species of Quebec and tropical ones. Only complaint would be the exhibits could use updating and some of the enclosures would benefit from increased cleaning. Parking is free. Expect to spend three hours.
